Beatrice Oleane Horton, 84 of Woodlawn, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2024 at Hillsville Health and Rehab.  Mrs. Horton was born in Carroll County, Virginia to the late Solamon and Seioto Sawyers Hawks.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Garrett Horton; sons, Jerry Horton and Barry Horton; sister, Hermer Hawks; and brother, James Olen Hawks.

Survivors include her brothers, Solamon Allan Hawks and Randall Hawks; two grandchildren; and special friend, Charmon Brooks.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at Skyview Missionary Baptist Church at 2:00 PM with Pastor Wendell Horton officiating.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
