Barbara Ellen Waller, 67, of Austinville, passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2014 at her home. Ms. Waller was born in Carroll County on February 25, 1947. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Junior Caviness; and brother, Danny Ray Caviness. Survivors include her daughter, Loretta Melton of Austinville; sons, and daughters-in-law, Jeffery Melton and wife, Robin of Rocky Gap and Lawrence Waller and wife Emma of Mt. Airy; mother, Emma Imogene Horton Caviness; brothers, Raymond Caviness of Wytheville, Richard Caviness of Cana, Steve Caviness of Austinville, and Terry Caviness of Austinville; sisters, Rose Rogers of Cana and Brenda Sipe of Conway, SC; seven grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Pastor Jerry Keegan and Pastor Wes Mosteller officiating. Burial will follow in the Parnell Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
