Barbara Louise Nester, 87 of Hillsville passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at her home. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred Thomas and Mary Grace Gilliam Gardner.

Survivors include her children and spouses, Michele and Jim Dixon, Gina Dalton, Pam Irvin, Michael Nester, Fred and Polly Nester, Susan Kinser, and Sara and Lynn Rucker; 14 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren; Sister, Othella Johnson; 2 nephews and 1 great niece.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel. Burial will follow in the John Henry Gardner Cemetery.
