Barbara Sharpe Latta, 76, of Dugspur passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2013 at Heritage Hall Laurel Meadows nursing home. She was preceded in death by her father, Ernest Perry Sharpe, Jr. Survivors include her husband, Irvin Latta; mother, Edna Maness Sharpe; four step children, Ricky Latta of Fort Mill, SC, Kim McDonald of Atlanta, GA, Keith Latta of Liberty, NC, and Vicky Latta of Randleman, NC; sister, Helen Ozment of Pine Hurst, NC; brother, Perry Sharpe of Durham, NC; three grandchildren also survive. On Friday, July 5, 2013 a Memorial service will be held at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 6:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the Latta family.
