Barbara Dalton Goad, 52 of Hillsville, passed away on Tuesday, November 27, 2007 at her home. She was born to the Late Herbert Alvin and Beulah Huff Dalton. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister Linda Evelyn Dalton. Barbara is survived by her husband Donald Goad of the home; son Kelly Goad of Hillsville; aunts & uncles Clevo Dalton & Erthyl Dalton, Claudine Marshall, Berlie & Ramona Goad; very special cousins Lola Sutphin and Lori Edwards; special friends Mike & Brigette Parnell and Joe & Charlene Melton; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 29, 2007 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 Pm with Rev. David Bays and Rev. Shawn Beeche officiating. Burial will follow in the Shockley Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday night from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Shriner's Childrens Hospital 950 West Faris Road Greenville, SC 29605-4277.
