Barbara Tressa Evans, 68 of Woodlawn, passed away on Saturday May 19, 2007 at Baptist Medical Center. Ms. Evans was preceded in death by her parents Charles & Cecelia Monach Stephenson and an infant daughter Tressa Barry. She is survived by her daughters & sons-in-law Kerry & Chris Alechko of Hillsville and Kelly & Jeff Blevins of Conway, SC; sons & daughter-in-law Clancey & Leslie of Hugo, Minnesota and Casey Barry of Woodlawn; sister & brother-in-law Beverly & James Swearingen of Overland Park, Kansas; brother Timothy Stephenson of Harrisonville, Missouri; three grandchildren Samantha Barry and Jacob Barry of Hugo, Minnesota and Coleman Lowary of Hillsville and her best friend Peggy Michaels of Kansas City, Missouri.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 25, 2007 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 10:00 AM with Father Eric Kowalski officiating. Burial will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday night at the funeral home.
