Barbara Jean Costa 77 of Galax, VA passed away on Friday, July 30, 2021 at Waddell Nursing and Rehab in Galax, VA. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Valerie Quesenberry.

Barbara was a breast cancer survivor.

Survivors include her three daughters and sons-in-law, Kathleen Quesenberry and Charles Reed, Diana Q. Smith and Donald, Cindy Edwards and Michael; son and daughter-in-law, Charles Quesenberry and Heather; sister, Gladys Mathias; father of her children, Chester Quesenberry, Jr.; eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, August 2, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel. Burial will follow in the Quesenberry Cemetery.
