Barbara Jean Anderson, age 72, passed away Friday, April 22, 2022 at her residence in Hillsville.

Mrs. Anderson was born March 27, 1950 to the late Howard B. and Nannie Adams.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Stephen B. Anderson, Jr.; brother Howard "Bub" Adams; sister Ethel Phipps; brother-in-law Gerald Anderson; sister-in-law Jean Burdette; father and mother-in-law Stephen B. and Catherine Anderson.

Mrs. Anderson is survived by daughters Nikki Stevens and Aaron; Traci Stoneman and D J; Stephanie Kemper and Jerry; brother Bill Adams; grandchildren: Tina Stoneman, James Stoneman, Haleigh Jones; Loralei Stevens, Chandler Stevens, Carter Kemper and Clara Kemper.

Several nieces and nephews also survive.

The funeral service will be held Monday, April 25, 2022 at 11:00 AM in the Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Dr. William Gunter officiating.  Interment will follow in the Anderson-Hill Cemetery, Troutdale, Virginia.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until time for the service.
