Mrs. Barbara A. Goad, 56, of Dugspur, Virginia, passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at her home. Mrs. Goad was born in Wythe County, Virginia. She is survived by her husband, Roger W. Goad of the home, step sons, Jarred W. Goad, Christiansburg, Patrick Wayne Goad, Roanoke, brothers & sisters, Judy Jarrels, Danny Amburn, Jerry Amburn, Ronnie Amburn, Sheila Houchin, mother-in-law, Geneva Goad, Galax, three step grandchildren, Isaac Goad, Elijah Goad, Lucas Goad, nineteen nieces & nephews, eighteen grand nieces & nephews, also survive. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2013, at 4:00 PM at the Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with the Rev. Norman Goad officiating. Burial will follow in the Goad Family Cemetery, Dugspur. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 2:00 until 4:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family of Mrs., Goad.
