Avon W. McGrady, 83 of Laurel Fork, passed away on Tuesday, November 06, 2007. Mrs. McGrady was preceded in death by her husband Glen McGrady. She is survived by her daughters & sons-in-law Sherry & Waymon Jackson of Laurel Fork and Kandy & Ermine Easter of Galax; three grandchildren Kristy Boyd, Cory Jackson and Derek Jackson and two great grandsons Tanner and Grayson.

A graveside service with burial following will be held on Thursday, November 8, 2007 at Worrell Memorial Cemetery at 2:00 P.M. with Elder Timmy McGrady and Pastor Myron Dalton officiating. The family will receive friends at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel on Wednesday, November 7, 2007 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
