Avis Culler Todd, 93 of Laurel Fork, passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at Twin County Regional Hospital. Mrs. Todd was born in Coalwood, WV to the late Lee and Minnie Emma Jessup Culler. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Clement Stanley Todd; sons, Donald Lee Todd, and Clement Stanley Todd, Jr.; and sister, Althea Holder. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Janice and Cricket McDonald of Laurel Fork; two grandchildren, Todd McDonald and Angela Cook; two great grandchildren, Ashton McGuire and Nathan Cook; niece, Rebecca H. Quesenberry; and nephews, Rick Holder and Ronnie Holder. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Rev. Roland McCraw and Rev. Winston Puckett officiating. Burial will follow in the Gardner Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the funeral service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
