Ava Diane Quesenberry, 71, of Dugspur, passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at Waddell Nursing Home. Ms. Quesenberry was born in Carroll County to the late Theodore R. and Thelma Edith Quesenberry. In addition to her parents, Ms. Quesenberry was also preceded in death by her sister, Wanda Q. Edmonds.

Survivors include brothers, Walton W. Quesenberry of Hillsville and Jerry Smith Quesenberry of Franklin, VA; sister, Shirley Q. Price of Pembroke, VA; and several special nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 PM with Pastor Ricky Atkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Marshall Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pine Grove Baptist Church in Dugspur or to the American Cancer Society. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
