Aubrey Don Goad, 67 of Hillsville, Virginia passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at Novant Forsyth Medical Center.  Mr. Goad was born in Virginia on February 23, 1959 to the late Jessie Don and Rosie Ima Guynn Goad.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Deloris Anne Goad.

Mr. Goad worked in Housekeeping at Twin County Regional Hospital.  Prior to that, he had worked at Spencer's in Mount Airy, NC and Micro Metrics in Laurel Fork.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Bradley Don Goad (Alesia); grandchildren, Noah Goad, Olivia Goad, and Serena Goad; brother, Leonard Wayne Goad; and niece, Stephanie Goad Brandson (Greg).

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 8, 2026 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 PM with Pastor Marc Jones officiating.  Burial will follow in the Haynes Family Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the funeral service.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
