Arlene Banks Meredith, 92 of Hillsville, passed away on Monday, December 24, 2012 at Twin County Regional Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents William Posey & Lilly Webb Banks, her husband Charles W. Meredith, a son, Posey Euell Meredith. Survivors include daughters & son-in-law, Betty Lou Melton Cash, Madison Heights, VA, Norene & Wayne Sowers, Hillsville, VA, son & daughter-in-law, Walter & Dawn Meredith, Hillsville, VA. six grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, two brothers & sisters-in-law, Early & Jean banks, Low Gap, NC, Tom & lorna Banks, Leeds, AL, three sisters & brother-in-law, Cosby Horton, Fancy Gap, VA, Mary Alice Dalton, Virginia Beach, VA, Jo Ann & Bill Sechler. Matthews, Matthew, NC also survive. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 27, 2012 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 PM with Pastor David Bays officiating. Burial will follow in the Heath Banks Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from twelve thirty until two.
