Arlene Lowe, 90 of Hillsville, passed away on Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at Twin County Regional Hospital. Mrs. Lowe was born in Carroll County to the late Sandy & Martha McCraw Combs. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Earl Lowe. Arlene is survived by her son & daughter-in-law Billy & Joy Combs of Fancy Gap; brother-in-law Whitey G. Norman of Winston Salem, NC; sister-in-law Peggy Combs of Winston Salem, NC; and grandson & spouse Barry & Jennifer Combs.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 24, 2007 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 11:00 AM with Rev. Layne Pennington and Rev. Scott Robertson-Gouge officiating. Burial will follow in the Blue Ridge Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday night from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
