Archie James Montgomery, 73 of Allisonia, passed away on Monday, February 14, 2022 at the home of his sister-in-law. Mr. Montgomery was born in Carroll County, Virginia to the late James K. and Helen Stilwell Montgomery. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Roy Montgomery.

Survivors include his sister-in-law, Arba Jean Montgomery and close friends, Wayne Bowers and Robin Sykes.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 18, 2022 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 11:00 am with Pastors Wendell Horton and Gary Horton officiating. Burial will follow in the Dry Pond Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday from 10:00 until 11:00 AM prior to the funeral service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
