Archa William Harmon, 86 of Hillsville passed away on Friday, October 12, 2007 at Twin County Regional Hospital. Mr. Harmon was born in Smyth County, VA to the late J.L. & Lydia Jennings Harmon. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Alice Harmon; daughter Joann Harmon; brothers Bayne Harmon and Barton Harmon; and sisters Edna Harmon and Ada Parks. Mr. Harmon is survived by his daughters & sons-in-law Gladys Forbes, Mary & Rex Hylton, and Louise & Don Keith all of Hillsville; sister Izetta Lintecum of Hillsville; brothers-in-law & spouse Lewis Farmer of Roanoke and Ernest & Dora Farmer of Asheville, NC; sister-in-law Marie Harmon of Woodlawn; eight grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service with burial following will be held on Sunday, October 14, 2007 at the Harmon Lineberry Robinson Cemetery in Woodlawn on Coral Reef Road at 2:00 PM with Pastor Russell Payne officiating. The family will receive friends at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel on Saturday night from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the cemetery c/o Tony Lineberry P.O.
