Arbutus Vaughn Sykora, 84 of Willis, passed away on Monday, April 30, 3007 at Waddell Nursing Home. Mrs. Sykora is survived by her sons & daughters-in-law Phillip J. & Carol Sykora of Louisville, KY and Daniel J. & Dorothy Sykora of Cleveland, OH; brothers Roy Vaughn and John Vaughn both of Newark, OH; daughter-in-law Linda M. Kerns of Cloverdale, VA; two granddaughters Amy Higgins and Dawn Sykora; two great granddaughters Alisha Higgins and Katrina Higgins; and three step grandchildren Cheryl Booth, Collean Carr and C.J. Fritch.

A graveside service with burial following will be held on Thursday, May 3, 2007 at 11:00 AM at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Floyd County with Rev. Norman Goad officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday morning from 9:30 until 10:30 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel.
