Arbory Lucus Phillips, 88 of Dugspur, passed away Saturday, April 18, 2009 at Golden Living Center Blue Ridge. Mr. Phillips was born in Carroll County to the late Dewey & Maggie Marshall Phillips. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ina Phillips. Mr. Phillips is survived by his brother & sisters-in-law, Chester Ray & Lydia Phillips; Dugspur, Odessa Phillips, Dugspur, special friend, Arlene Stoneman, one niece & three nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 11:00 AM wit the Rev. Ed Lanning officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday 10:00 until 11:00 AM. Military rites will be conducted at the graveside by Grover King Post 1115. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
