Arba Nuckolls Hall, 86 of Fancy Gap, passed away on Thursday, April 22, 2010 at Northern Hospital of Surry County. Mr. Hall was born in Carroll County to the late James W. & Anna Hall. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by a son Ralph Hall. He is survived by his wife of 66 years Edna Bowman Hall of the home; daughters & sons-in-law Joyce Hall and Jean Hall both of Fancy Gap, Linda Dalton & Roger King and Ann & Kenneth Largen all of Hillsville; daughter-in-law Patricia Hall of Fancy Gap; sons & daughters-in-law Roger & Diane Hall, Worth & Carolyn Hall, Virgil & Pauline Hall, and Larry & Rebecca Hall all of Fancy Gap; ten grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2010 at Skyview Baptist Church at 2:00 PM with Rev. Wendell Horton and Rev. David Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Webb-Skyview Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel on Friday, April 23, 2010 from 5:00 until 8:00 PM.
