April Bailey Reed, 59 of Woodlawn, passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.  She was born in Martinsville, Virginia on April 10, 1966.  She was preceded in death by her mother and step-father, Barbara Gray (Ralph); two brothers, Anthony Bailey and Vincent Lee Bailey.

Survivors include her husband, Alan Alderman; father and step-mother, Billy Dean Bailey, Sr. (Shirley); daughter, Cheyenne Reed; step-son, Logan Alderman; grandson, Nahzier Martin; and siblings, Rhonda Milton (Roger) and Billy Bailey (Melinda).

A memorial service will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
