April Dawn Brannock, 48 of Dugspur, passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2024.  Mrs. Brannock was born in Beckley, WV on September 20, 1975.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Cheryl Harless Smythers and her husband, Wesley Matthew Brannock.

Survivors include her daughters, Ashley Caviness, Haley Caviness and Destiny Brannock; father, Eugene Smythers; and grandson, Bentley Caviness.

A graveside service with burial following will be held on Monday, February 12, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Snow Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Galax with Pastor Doug Goad officiating. The family will receive friends after the service at the home of Ashley Caviness.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
