Anthony Ferdinand Cossich, 63, of Galax, passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at his home. Mr. Cossich was born July 31, 1949.in New Orleans, LA. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Ferdinand Cossich. Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Cossich of the home; children and spouses, Anthony and Diana Cossich of Galax, Aimee Kamiya and Doug Pauley of Galax, Christopher L. Cossich of Kenai, Alaska and Ashley Mabry of Wytheville, and Kristina and James Fickling of Boone, NC; mother, Thelma Rogers Cossich of Slidell, LA, brothers and sister-in-law, Steven Cossich of Kenai, Alaska, Greg and Mary Cossich of Jacksonville, Florida, and Bryan Cossich of Slidell, Louisiana; grandchildren, Asuka, Homare, Brittney, Jessica, Julina, Allyssa, Joseph, Skylynn, Christain, Vincent, and Mandie Pauley and son Matthew Rector; and lots of family and friends in Oak Harbor, Washington, Slidell, Louisiana, Oahu, Hawaii, and Jacksonville, North Carolina. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Father Manny of St. Joseph's Catholic Church officiating. Military rites will be conducted by the Hillsville V.F.W. Post 1115. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, May 3, 2013 from 7:00 until 9:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
