Anne Jaral, 57 of Hillsville, passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at her home. Ms. Jaral was born in North Carolina on July 16, 1956. She was preceded in death by her father, George Atkins. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Eric and Christy Alexander of Hillsville, daughters and son-in-law, Jessie and Julio Sanchez of Pulaski and Joyce Gravatt of Dugspur; mother and step-father, Dolores O. and Steve Gravatt of South Carolina; brothers, Buzzy Atkins and Andy Atkins both of Greensboro, NC; sister, Christie Baker of Greensboro, NC; cousin, Ricky Atkins of Greensboro, NC; and six grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 22, 2014 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 PM with Pastor Jeff Pickett officiating. Burial will follow in the Newman Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the funeral service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
