Annabelle Martin Shupe, 81 of Max Meadows, passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at her home. Mrs. Shupe was born in Wayne, Michigan to the late Anna Frances Maurer & John D. Martin, Sr. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Cecil Thomas Shupe. She is survived by her son & daughter-in-law Larry & Vickie Shupe of Galax; daughter Nancy Shupe Dehart of Roanoke; brothers & sisters-in-law John D. Martin, Jr. & wife Phyllis of Rockledge, FL and Wayne C. Martin & wife Kathy of Marietta, GA; sister Linda M. Deese of Indianapolis, IN; four grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 28, 2010 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 1:00 PM with Steve Canup, Minister, officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 27, 2010 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm.
