Anita Diann Lyons, 65 of Shawsville, passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at Highland Ridge Nursing Home. Ms. Lyons was born in Pulaski on April 30, 1956 to the late Ward H. Lyons, Jr. and Belva M. Goad Lyons.

Survivors include her sister, Rita Lyons of Shawsville; brother Gerald Lyons of Pulaski; nephew and nieces, Gerald Matthew Lyons, Jennifer Morris, and Kassondra Lyons; one great-niece and five great-nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at 1:00 PM at the Newbern United Methodist Church in Pulaski with Pastor Paige Wimberly officiating. Burial will follow in the Walter Goad Family Cemetery in Hillsville, Virginia. Visitation will be at the church on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 from 12:00 PM until service time. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
