Angie Russell, 91 of Galax, passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2009 at Waddell Nursing & Rehab Center. Mrs. Russell was preceded in death by her husband Brady Russell and a grandson Joe Earl Parks. She is survived by her daughter & son-in-law Mary & Joe Parks of Galax; grandson & spouse John Russell & Ashley Parks of Hillsville; and three great grandchildren Mary Kaegan Parks, William Russell Parks and Anna Jacqueline Parks.

A graveside service with burial following will be held on Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at 2:00 PM at the Jonah Marshall Cemetery with Rev. Terry McMillian officiating. The family will receive friends at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel on Tuesday, February 3, 2009 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
