Angela Jean Easter, 43, of Warner Robins, GA, passed away on Thursday, September 18, 2014. Survivors include her mother, Alene McCraw Nester of Galax; step sisters, Michelle Dixon, Gina Dalton, and Susan Kinser all of Galax, and Pam Irvin and Sara Rucker both of Hillsville; step brothers, Mike Nester of Hillsville and Fred Nester of Raleigh, NC; special aunts and uncles, Donnie and Carlene McCraw, Lonnie McCraw, and Ollie Jones; several cousins; and special canine friends, Diesel and Goldie. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 21, 2014 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 PM with Elder Melvin McGrady and Pastor Myron Dalton officiating. Burial will follow in the Independence Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 12:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Independence Cemetery or Midway Baptist Church. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
