Alyene Wade, 92, of Hillsville passed away on Friday, November 17, 2017 at Hillsville Health and Rehabilitation. She was preceded in death by her husband, Waverly Melvin Wade; parents, Roby Neil and Josie Bond Coulson; daughter, Sharon Wade; sister, Katherine Richardson; brothers, Paul Coulson and Cecil Coulson.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Rudolph Russell of Woodlawn; brother, Lee Coulson of Hillsville; grandchildren and spouses, Lisa and Harold Hall, Farrah and Charlie Vaughn, Jeremiah Russell, and Matthew Koenigsman; great grandchildren and spouse, Jacob and Ashely Hall, Isaac Hall, Jared Hall, Jasmine Vaughn, and Jenna Vaughn; great-great grandchildren, Aiden Hall, and Heath Hall.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, November 20, 2017 at First United Methodist Church of Hillsville at 6:00 PM with Pastor Robert Smith and Pastor Ronnie Collins officiating. The family will receive friends at Hillsville First United Methodist Church on Monday, November 20, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the First United Methodist Church of Hillsville at 225 Fulcher Street, Hillsville, VA 24343. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the Wade family.
