Alton "Creed" Semones, 92 of Hillsville passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at Twin County Regional Hospital. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Carter Semones; son, Gary Semones, and by his parents.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Becky Semones of Hillsville; two grandchildren, Megan Crawford, and Noah Crawford; brother-in-law Wayne Carter; sisters-in-laws, Opal Semones and Wilma Vaughn; many nieces and nephews; special caregivers, Debbie Durnil, Pam Quesenberry, and Jennifer Dunford.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Elder Ronald Bowman and Rev. Wendell Horton officiating. Burial will follow in the Semones Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, January 11, 2016 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the Semones family.
