Alma Lee Browder, 94, of Hillsville, passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2012 at Golden Living Center Blue Ridge. Mrs. Browder was born in Carroll County to the late Wise and Sallie Lewis Largen. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Claude Browder and son Charlie Browder. Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law Fred and Vickie Browder of Aiken, SC and John and Linda Browder of Hillsville; eight grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at Hillsville First Baptist Church at 11:00 AM with Dr. Lawrence Childs officiating. Burial will follow in the Browder Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
