Allen Nuckolls, 49, of Barren Springs passed away on August 21, 2009 at Carilion New River Valley Hospital. He is survived by his wife Carolyn Nuckolls of the home; brother and sister-in-law Haswell, Jr and Becky Nuckolls of Mt. Airy, NC; sisters and brother-in-law Frances Smith of Britstol, VA, and Wanda and Mike Higgins of Greensboro, NC.

The funeral service will be on Tuesday, August 25, 2009 at 1:00 PM at Vaughan Guynn McGrady Chapel, with Rev. Richard Kingrea officiating. Burial will follow in Gardner Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, August 24, 2009 from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
