Alice Elizabeth Harmon, 85 of Hillsville, passed away on Tuesday, July 17, 2007 at Golden Living Center Blue Ridge in Galax, VA. She was born on March 10, 1922 to the late Roby John and Candace Ruth Farmer in Carroll County, VA. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death a daughter Jo Ann Harmon; brother Arlie Farmer and sister Cleo Jennings. Mrs. Harmon is survived by her husband Archa Harmon of the home; three daughters & spouses Gladys Forbs; Mary & Rex Hylton and Louise & Don Keith all of Hillsville; one sister Marie Harmon of Woodlawn; two brothers & sister-in-law Lewis Farmer of Roanoke and Ernest & Dora Farmer of Asheboro, NC; sister-in-law Izetta Lintecum; brother-in-law Clayton Jennings; eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

A graveside service with burial following will be held on Thursday, July 19, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at the Harmon Lineberry Robinson Cemetery in Woodlawn on Coral Reef Road with the Pastor Russell Payne officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday night from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the cemetery c/o Tony Lineberry P.O.
