Alice Ann Ayers, 62 of Hillsville, passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC. Ms. Ayers was born in Carroll County to the late Elihu Juel and Alene Gravley Ayers.

Survivors include her sister and brother-in-law, Vera and Garnett Dalton of Hillsville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Terry and Claudette Ayers of Meadows of Dan and Gary and Kathy Ayers of Manassas; several nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 3:00 PM with Rev. Stephen Puckett and Rev. Gerald Humphrey officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 2:00 until 3:00 PM prior to the memorial service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
