Alex Brown Manning, 63, of Hillsville passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Graham Manning. Survivors include his wife, Kathy Manning of the home; two sons, Justin Manning of Big Stone Gap, and Daniel Manning of Hillsville; two daughters, Aimee Wild, and Anita Carranza both of Hillsville; mother, Gladys Yourieff; sister, Paulette Young of The Villages, FL; three grandchildren, Destiny Deleon, Daysion Manning, and Kaelynn Manning; three great grandchildren; two special friends Jessie H. Bond, and Shawn Bond. A Special pet Rottweiler Abby. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with and Pastor Paul Perkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Manning Family Cemetery on Homestead Road in Hillsville. The family will receive friends at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the Manning family.
