Aleene Lawson, 90, passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at her home.

Mrs. Lawson was born June 5, 1933 in Carroll County, Virginia to the late Carl Edward and Elva Alice Rotenzier Parnell.  In additional to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Clavon Eugene Lawson and several siblings.

Mrs. Lawson is survived by three daughters:  Kathy Strickland (Mike), Phyllis Quesenberry (Cleve), and Sandra Bolen; two sons: Randall Lawson (Karen) and Doug Lawson.  Also surviving are ten (10) grandchildren, seven (7) great grandchildren, three (3) great-great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services and burial will be held Monday, November 27, 2023 at 2:00 PM at the Pleasant View Cemetery with Pastor Ricky Alexander officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1: 00 PM until time for the service at Pleasant View Church.
