Albert Wright, 79 of Hillsville passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2006 at Twin County Regional Hospital. Mr. Wright is survived by his wife Alma C. Horton Wright of the home; son Jimmy Wright of TX; daughter Gabriel Wright of TX; step-sons & spouses J.C. & Connie Horton of Hillsville, Ronnie & Shirley Horton of Woodlawn, and Gary & Karen Horton of Hillsville; step-daughter & spouse Fran & Doug Layne of Hillsville; sisters & brother-in-law Alice & Charlie McMillan of Hillsville, Katherine Johnson of Hillsville, Etta W. Sarver of Maryland and Betty Ruth Edwards of Galax; eight step grandchildren and two step great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Friday, March 3, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with the Rev. Norman Goad officiating. Burial will follow in the Dinwiddie Cemetery. Military Rites will be conducted by the Hillsville V.F.W. Post 1115. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Thursday night at the funeral home.
