Aimee Hiner Shanks, 35, of Laurel Fork, went to be with her Lord on Friday, May 25, 2012. She was born in Concord, North Carolina to the late Harper Swanson Hiner and Shelby Jean Worrell Hiner. She is survived by her husband Kenny Shanks of Charlotte, NC; son Caleb Lynn King and daughter Caitlyn King both of Mount Airy, NC; and two brothers Dennis Angel of Mount Airy, NC and Tim Hiner of Harrisburg, NC. A graveside service with burial following will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at Oakdale Cemetery in Mount Airy, NC at 11:00 AM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
