Obituary

Adeen F. Sumner, 85, of Woodlawn, passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at Trinity Mission. Mrs. Sumner was born in Virginia to the late Henry and Martha Davidson Frazier. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Elrige Sumner; son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Earlene Sumner; brothers and sister-in-law, Rev. Dale and Mavis Frazier and R.C. Frazier; and sister, Dorthy Utt. Survivors include her brothers and sisters-in-law, Rev. Lloyd and Edna Frazier of Cleveland, TN, Kyle and Katherine Frazier of Austinville, and Dr. Herbert and Jewel Frazier of Cleveland, TN; sisters and brothers-in-law, Zona and Rev. John Briggs of Woodlawn, Grace and Billy Smythers of Woodlawn, Edith Frazier of Woodlawn, Fern and Donald Hanks of Woodlawn, and Glenna and Dean Winesett of Austinville; brother-in-law, Arkie Utt of Austinville; sisters-in-law, Nora Frazier of Woodlawn, Robertha Sumner of Woodlawn, and Catherine Bonn of Woodlawn; twenty-two nieces and nephews; and many great and great-great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 18, 2015 at Woodlawn Church of God at 2:00 PM with Rev. Harvey Carico, Rev. Rudy Robinson, and Rev. Sheri Winesett officiating. Burial will follow in the Pickett Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel on Saturday, October 17, 2015 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
