Addie Sue Durnil Pettry, 90 of Hillsville, passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at Twin County Regional Hospital.  Mrs. Pettry was born in Carroll County to the late Cleveland W. and Larmie McPeak Durnil.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Roy Pettry; brothers, Guy Durnil, Curtis Durnil, and Carl Durnil; and sisters, Bessie Shaddock, Guida Thomas, Ella Quesenberry, Daisy Gardner, Okie Dalton, and Alma Huff.

Survivors include her sons, Michael Pettry (Pam), Donald Pettry, and Ronald Pettry; grandchild, Crystal Carver (Brooke); and great-grandchildren, Theodore Ross and Grace Arabella.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel.  Burial will follow in the Branscome Cemetery in Dugspur.
