Adam Lee Ashton, 34, of Hillsville, passed away on Monday, March 5, 2012. He was born in California on September 14, 1977. Mr. Ashton was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Herman and Jackie Mabry. Survivors include his wife Ramona J. Ashton of the home; children Amber Ashton, Avery Ashton, and Alexxis Ashton all of the home; father and step-mother Floyd & Lois Ashton, Jr. of Laurel Fork; mother Raylene Mabry of Ararat; sister and brother-in-law Sara and David Beasley of Galax; brother and sister-in-law Nicholas and Amanda Ashton of Laurel Fork; paternal grandparents Floyd and Sara Ashton of California; father and mother-in-law Richard and Mildred Marshall; sisters-in-law and spouse Roxana and David Kamoda and Rhonda Marshall all of Laurel Fork; four nieces; and two nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 8, 2012 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 11:00 AM with Elder David Kamoda, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Isaac Banks Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
